The large 8" driver will allow the IW8 to go down to 55Hz which is of great benefit with music and allows it to hit the low frequencies of the tracks.

The adjustable 1" Silk Dome Tweeter can be adjusted towards the listening position when being used as surround speakers in your home theatre system.
